Standard Interface: RS-485 The PRP-Series is a single-output multi-range programmable switching DC Power Supply covering a power range up to 400W. This series of products include two models with the combination of 20V rated voltages and 200W, 400W maximum output powers. As the PRP-Series can be connected in series for maximum 2 units or in parallel for maximum 3 units, the capability of connecting multiple PRP units for higher voltage or higher current output provides a broadcoverage of applications. The CV/CC priority selection of the PRP-Series is a very useful feature for DUT protection. The conventional power supply normally operates under CV mode when the power output is turned on. This could bring a high inrush current to the capacitive load or current-intensive load at the power output-on stage. Taking the I-V curve verification of LED as an example, it becomes a very challenging task to perform this measurement using a conventional power supply.With LED connected to a power supply under CV mode as the initial setting, when the power output is turned on and the voltage rises to the LED forward voltage, the current will suddenly peak up and exceed the preset value of current limit. Upon detecting this high current, the power supply starts the transition from CV mode to CC mode. Though the current becomes stable after the CC mode is activated, the current spike occurred at the CV and CC crossover point may possibly damage the DUT. At the power output-onstage,the PRP-Series is able to run under CC priority to limit the current spike occurred at the threshold voltage and therefore protect DUT from the inrush current damage. The adjustable slew rate of the PRP-Series allows user to set for either output voltage or output current a specific rise time at the low to high level transition, and a specific fall time at the high to low level transition. This facilitates the characteristic verification of a DUT during voltage or current level changes with controllable slew rates. The manufacturing tests of lighting device or large capacitor during power output-on are mostly associatedwith the occurrence of high surge current, which can greatly reduce the life time of the DUT. To prevent inrush current from damaging current-intensive devices, a smooth and slow voltage transition during power on-off can significantly reduce the spike current and protect the device from high current damage. The OVP and OCP are provided with the PRP-Series. Both OVP and OCP levels can be selected, with default level set at 110%, of the rated voltage/current of the power supply. When any of the protection level is tripped, the power output will be switched off to protect the DUT. The PRP-Series provides RS-232/RS-485 interfaces as standard. The rich features of LCR-8000G Series easily make your measurement tasks done at a very competitive price. The Sarter Way to Characterize Component Friendly Intuitive User InterfaceThe LCR-8000G Series is designed to perform precision impedance measurements over a wide frequency range of 20Hz~10MHz for LCR-8110G, 20Hz~5MHz for LCR-8105G and 20Hz~1MHz for LCR-8101G.The instrument is capable of measuring 11 different parameters with0.1% basic accuracy, which meets the precision measurement requirements of components and modules used in the RF circuits. The large LCD display with single-layer operation menu of LCR-8000GSeries providesusers with ultimate convenience to plug and play without much learning time. Pass/Fail Function with Judgment AlarmIn the Pass/Fail test, primary parameter measurement result is compared with user-defined limits and the pass or fail result is then displayed. Three methods, including absolute limit, percentage and delta limit, are available for Hi(high) and Lo(low) limit setting based on the nominal test value. The Pass/Fail test checks whether the parameter measurement result sits within the limits, then display "PASS" for within the limits, or "LO"for lower than the low limit, or "HI" for higher than the high limit. A scale and bar for displaying measurement result is shown at the center of the screen to give a graphical identification, which greatly reduces operator‘s load in a long time inspection work. This scale and bar also facilitate the adjustment of the variable components. Either Pass or Fail result can be set with a buzzer alarm, which makes component or material sorting easy with sound identification. Multi Step Mode The Multi-Step mode is capable of running a series of measurements of a component at a number of user-defined steps in sequence automatically. Total 64 programs can be saved into the non-volatile memory, and each program contains up to 30 test steps. The parameter and Hi/Lo limits can be set respectively for each test step. After a program being properly edited, the instrument can run through all the measurement steps either at a press of the button underthe Manual Trigger selection, or automatically run the program by detecting the connection of a DUT under the Auto Trigger selection. When all the test steps are completed, the screen shows the measurement reading of the parameter being selected for each step with Pass, HI, or LO measurement result. Graph ModeThe graph function shows the component characteristics in visual manner. Either voltage sweep or frequency sweep can be selected for horizontal scale. Just select the parameter, and set the start/stop voltage or the start/stop frequency of the sweep, LCR-8000G will run through the sequence of measurements and show the results on a graph. The launch of the PSU-HV series augments the existing PSU series to fully satisfy the extensive voltage demands of 1U power supply market and provides system integrators with more flexibilities and selections to conduct system integration. The introduction of the PSU-HV series has perfected the PSU product line, which satisfies the applicationrequirements ranging from low voltage and large current to high voltage. Utilizing same model units of the PSU series to conduct series and parallel connections can increase total output power, total current or total voltage. The wide voltage and current output ranges of the PSU series can fully satisfy various voltage and current measurement requirements. The PSU series is a single power output DC programmable power supply, which outputs 1200W to 1560W. The PSU series provides maximum 2 units in series connection (models under300V) to achieve maximum 600V or 4 units in parallel connection to obtain maximum800Aand the maximum output power of 6.24 kilowatts.  The PSU series allows settings for CC priority or CV priority. Under CC or CV mode, users can adjust slew rate for output voltage or current based upon test requirements. There are two kinds of slew rate settings: high speed priority and slew rate priority.  High speed priority sets slew rate at the maximum speed to reach CC or CV mode. Slew rate priority allows users to set slew rate for CC or CV mode in order to control rise or fall slew rate.Slew rate priority mode is ideal for motor tests by adjusting the rise time of output voltage to protect DUT from being damaged by inrush current occurred at turn-on. Comparing with other 1U power supplies available in the market, PSU supports a most complete array of interfaces, including USB, LAN, RS-232, RS-485, analog control interface, GPIB (option), isolated analog interface (voltage control), and isolated analog interface (current control). Via the multi-drop mode, PSU will not need any switch/hub and GPIB cable for remote control and slave unit augmentation when using LAN, USB or GPIB. This feature can helpusers save costs on augmentation equipment for connecting slave while using LAN or USB. The new PSU-HV series is ideal for the primary input of DC/DC converter and servomotor production application. PSU is often integrated into component test systems such as aging test equipment for capacitors; 600V DC bias applications; aging test equipment for diode; semiconductor production equipment; automotive electronics; and ECU for V8 engine or V12 engine, etc. The PSU series provides users with flexible settings of High/Low Level or  Trigger input /Trigger output signals with pulse width of 1 ~ 60ms. Trigger input controls PSU to output or upload preset voltage, current and memory parameters. While outputting or uploading preset voltage, current and memory parameters PSU can produce corresponding Trigger output signals.

For the recordingmode, themeasurement result is directly saved into the log file, but only the current display is shown in the process. The measured data and trend chart can be viewed after the recording mode is stopped.
